The signs of the times

The signs of the times
Visualize someone in the emergency room of any hospital. Okay now observe the staff and how they would react to someone they did not know the history of that began to bleed and sprayed blood all over everyone in the room today. They would literally freak out. From being concerned for bad blood, possibly aids and other unhealthy diseases. The staff would not come back into that room without making sure that they have protected themselves, with gloves and mask and such things. In the old days things like this would be different. The blood was pure the spilling of blood meant something. The enemy has made blood a bad thing lately. However we cannot forget about the most important spilling of blood that was made and that was the spilling of the blood of the true Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 9
Worship in the Earthly Tabernacle
1Now the first covenant had regulations for worship and also an earthly sanctuary. 2A tabernacle was set up. In its first room were the lampstand, the table and the consecrated bread; this was called the Holy Place. 3Behind the second curtain was a room called the Most Holy Place, 4which had the golden altar of incense and the gold-covered ark of the covenant. This ark contained the gold jar of manna, Aaron's staff that had budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant. 5Above the ark were the cherubim of the Glory, overshadowing the atonement cover. But we cannot discuss these things in detail now.
6When everything had been arranged like this, the priests entered regularly into the outer room to carry on their ministry. 7But only the high priest entered the inner room, and that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance. 8The Holy Spirit was showing by this that the way into the Most Holy Place had not yet been disclosed as long as the first tabernacle was still standing. 9This is an illustration for the present time, indicating that the gifts and sacrifices being offered were not able to clear the conscience of the worshiper. 10They are only a matter of food and drink and various ceremonial washings—external regulations applying until the time of the new order.

The Blood of Christ
11When Christ came as high priest of the good things that are already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not man-made, that is to say, not a part of this creation. 12He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption. 13The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. 14How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!
15For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.
16In the case of a will, it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it, 17because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living. 18This is why even the first covenant was not put into effect without blood. 19When Moses had proclaimed every commandment of the law to all the people, he took the blood of calves, together with water, scarlet wool and branches of hyssop, and sprinkled the scroll and all the people. 20He said, "This is the blood of the covenant, which God has commanded you to keep." 21In the same way, he sprinkled with the blood both the tabernacle and everything used in its ceremonies. 22In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
23It was necessary, then, for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24For Christ did not enter a man-made sanctuary that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God's presence. 25Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own. 26Then Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But now he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself. 27Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, 28so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

Nobody's comments

Never the same! How can anyone read the scriptures above and ever be the same again? I know I can’t. Okay now visualize hearing the scriptures being read out to you at your Church and the priest or pastor telling you he was going to offer a sacrifice for our sins for the year and suddenly starts sprinkling blood mix in water on you. Wow with the mad cow disease and stuff I’d be freaking out myself. This was a common thing done before Christ Jesus came and gave His life for you and me. The conclusion of all this is that our times have changed dramatically, mostly because of what Jesus did for us. Just remember if it Jesus didn’t die for us, if His blood wasn’t spilled then we would never have had the personal relationship with God that we all have now. Spilling of blood is not such a bad thing after all. With all the diseases and things we all are afraid of blood, and I think that is just want the enemy wants us to think. I can imagine being in the group of people before Christ being sprinkled by the priest yearly for forgiveness of sins and thinking great now I’m good for a year. But with us now our sins are forgiven for eternity, huge difference and should be a huge difference in how we feel about God versus how we would have felt back in the days on Moses. The signs of the times, yearly or forever, it’s your choice.
Amen

Mark 2:1-5
1A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home. 2So many gathered that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them. 3Some men came, bringing to him a paralytic, carried by four of them. 4Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus and, after digging through it, lowered the mat the paralyzed man was lying on. 5When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven."
Looking at this scripture, my pastor spoke this morning about how we are all in this together. Jesus saw the faith not just in the man that needed healing but in those that did what ever it took to get this person to where he needed to be to get healed. All men should take hold of this scripture and realize that it is sometimes a combined effort of all to get things done. My old Church was not like this for me and my family. We needed to be healed and needed men on faith to help us get to the place that Jesus would take care of us and they choose to let us get pulled into a huge mud pit. I could visualize the tug of war with the enemy and my old church on one side of the line and me by myself on the other end. Just about the time I was gaining strenght to hold my own, my old pastor grabbed the line on the other side with the enemy and the church I thought to be my Friends and they all pulled me over then edge into a mud pit and walked away.
Please don't let this happen to you. If you find yourself in this place, leave before they pull you over the edge. I am very happy and in a great church with an awesome pastor that teaches about Gods love.
He spoke about this guy that had a couple of horses that didn't look like much that wasn't huge horses and no one would have ever thought they could amount to anything. Well there was this one tree that needed to be loaded on a train to go to the mill. And none of the teams of horse that was being used could get this one tree on the train. All these team owners were placing wages to see who could get the job done. And here comes this old guy with his team and they let him try probably so they could get a good laugh. Then this team started to try and he said go, and the team pulled and nothing, tried agian and nothing. Then on the third try these horse beared down and begen to dig in and pull, and everyone there had never ever seen any horses get down and pull that hard. Well they did it. What a lesson to learn. If we as a church was to tackle all the opsticals that were before us like this, the enemy couldn't get his foot in the door ever. Jesus would see our faith and restore us.
Matthew 28
16Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Like the old man with the horses...Now GO!
Amen

Encouragment

We (I) should encourage others
Alright first of all if we are encouraging others than when will we have time to get into our own rut? Hopefully never! And everyone can use some encouragement every day so this should keep you busy. My new saying not matter how the day goes is “upbeat and positive”. I stole this for a movie, how to lose a guy in 50 days. In a meeting with the editor for a magazine one of the lady’s would tell her story about what she was going to write about and say at the and it’s “upbeat and positive”.Somewhere at the start of every letter that Paul wrote he would say something very encouraging to everyone.
Philemon 1 1-61Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, To Philemon our dear friend and fellow worker, 2to Apphia our sister, to Archippus our fellow soldier and to the church that meets in your home: 3Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 4I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers, 5because I hear about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints. 6I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ. 7Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the saints.
Verse 3 looks very familiar he always says things like Grace and peace to you from God. And in 4 I always thank my God as I remember you! How much more encouraging can anyone be to say that eveytime I think of you I say to God Thank you for Fred. Awesome stuff, how many times could we change our attitudes about someone if when we think of someone, instead of starting to judge or criticize them, we pray and thank God for them and for God to pour out his blessing on them? Doesn’t this really love someone? If you are having a hard time forgiving someone wouldn’t it be nice to just start out your day praying and thanking God for them and asking God to bless them today, wouldn’t that be forgiving and loving them or you could call it loving your enemy today?
Awesome stuff! God can bless us each and every day when we start and finish every day with a positive note.
Paul ends the book of Philemon with the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
So let’s be upbeat and positive and start each day with a heart of thanksgiving and a prayer for everyone you think of and doing the same at the ending each day.
Heavenly Father please pour out your blessing on everyone I know encourage them and allow me to ecourage other and not just those I love but everyone.
AMEN.

Guard your Heart

2 Timothy 4
1In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: 2Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. 3For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry. 6For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure. 7I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have kept the faith. 8Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. 9Do your best to come to me quickly, 10for Demas, because he loved this world, has deserted me and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia. 11Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, because he is helpful to me in my ministry. 12I sent Tychicus to Ephesus. 13When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, and my scrolls, especially the parchments. 14Alexander the metalworker did me a great deal of harm. The Lord will repay him for what he has done. 15You too should be on your guard against him, because he strongly opposed our message. 16At my first defense, no one came to my support, but everyone deserted me. May it not be held against them. 17But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion's mouth. 18The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen. 19Greet Priscilla[a] and Aquila and the household of Onesiphorus. 20Erastus stayed in Corinth, and I left Trophimus sick in Miletus. 21Do your best to get here before winter. Eubulus greets you, and so do Pudens, Linus, Claudia and all the brothers.
22The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.
Notes from Nobody:
I strongly urge you to be consumed by the Word of God, I had someone tell me that once you are in leadership at some church there is no, and he means no way you can take a break for any reason. You and your wife can be arguing, or even split up he told us that you have no excuse to not perform your duties. Unless you was one of his select few or knew where he buried the body then it was okay for you to not attend church and even not have your duties covered? In verse 5 Paul tells Timothy to discharge all his duties. I looked up discharge and it means: to relieve of obligation, responsibility. Also in verse 14 Paul speaks of someone that has spoken out against him, and the word of God. Says to guard your heart against him. This is a good message for today and for me. I have had my heart crushed by a man at church that made all kinds of claims and wanted everyone to think he was a man of God. Who am I to judge that, but I can tell you that this man damaged me and my wife and our relationship with God and the Church we use to attend and spoke out against us regularly behind our backs to others causing them to take sides against us. Guard your heart! Beware of devils in sheep’s clothing!

Gently instruct!

2 Timothy 2
1You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others. 3Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs—he wants to please his commanding officer. 5Similarly, if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not receive the victor's crown unless he competes according to the rules. 6The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops. 7Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this.
8Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel, 9for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God's word is not chained. 10Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.
11Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him; 12if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us; 13if we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself.
14Keep reminding them of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. 15Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. 16Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. 17Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, 18who have wandered away from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some. 19Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: "The Lord knows those who are his,"[a] and, "Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness."
20In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble. 21If a man cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.
22Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. 24And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. 25Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, 26and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.

Notes from Nobody: I had to use this chapter in whole. There is so much in the chapter that I can personally relate to. I can say after reading this I know for a fact that my last church did not take part in any of this. God will restore you; just continue to allow Gods word to consume you. I this chapter I can see what I have not done, what was not done for me, what I should do, and what should have been done. I’d just like to say that in all things opposing you, over and over again I have read in the bible that God wants us to gently restore, gently teach, and gently instruct others. Anything that is an attach of any kind is not of God. God wants us to be gentle, kind, loving, and peaceful. Flee from evil, I believe if you approce people to let them know what is happening and they blow you off and continue to do just what is destroying you-FLEE FROM THEM. Let God deal with them, for their sins can destroy you, especially if they claim to do these things in the name of the Lord. My prayer this morning was, I am so thankful that you love me so much to provide many rooms because I don’t know that want to spend eternity with some of His so called people. Anyway please in all dealings with others gently restore, gently instruct and gently instruct. And flee if those that are inflicting you and your family do not see that they are doing these things.

Guard the Good Deposit

2 Timothy 1
1Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, according to the promise of life that is in Christ Jesus,
2To Timothy, my dear son: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
3I thank God, whom I serve, as my forefathers did, with a clear conscience, as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers. 4Recalling your tears, I long to see you, so that I may be filled with joy. 5I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also. 6For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
8So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, 9who has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, 10but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. 11And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher. 12That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day.
13What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. 14Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.
Notes from Nobody;
I remember that first few months after I gave my life to Christ Jesus the Lord God, it seems just to be what Paul is talking about here, God made a deposit into me. Every day He was teaching me, coaching me, confronting me, healing me. And from that day I have had to guard that deposit, with each time I am hurt by someone I trusted as a good teacher, friend or mentor, that hurt me, or gave me bad directions, or made promises that they never intended to keep. I have had to guard the good deposit. Please don’t ever forget this, God makes the deposit and the enemy will try to steal it, and take this from you. Don’t let the enemy steal Gods gift from you. It is not about any one man, any one Church, any one religion, it’s about Jesus and what He did for us, and how much He loves us. Focus your eyes on Jesus and you will be just fine. There can be a storm all around you, you may have to walk away from many things that are tearing you down, but if you keep your eyes of Jesus you will be renewed by Him. That is the Good Deposit.
May Grace, mercy and peace be with you from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord!
Amen

Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love

Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
1Tim 11-21
Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. 12Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 13In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you 14to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen.
17Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. 18Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. 19In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
20Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, 21which some have professed and in so doing have wandered from the faith. Grace be with you.
Notes from Nobody:
In reading Timothy, I have found that Paul really loved Timothy and wanted him to receive all this good and know the real truth. Also how much God loves me by making this letter Holy Scriptures so that I may read understand and know the truth. Please I urge you not to take any of these teachings and Gods truth for granted. Please look at each chapter as a love letter from God to you.
3If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, 4he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions 5and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.
6But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. 8But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. 9People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. 10For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
11But you, man of God, flee from all this
Notes from Nobody: I wanted you to read the good stuff first before the warnings. I think these warnings are a good reminder for all of us that become slaves to bills and 401K’s and worrying about this a that, this plainly tells us all these things go nowhere when we die. The awesome thing about being a Christian VRS and someone that doesn’t believe is this, we have much more to look forward to. This life that we know if simply a testing ground for us. We have eternity to look forward to and should want this for everyone. So command a teach those that do not know the truth and good news of the gospel. Pay no attention to false things. If you are a college student beware, this sounds so much like our colleges today;
20 Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, 21which some have professed and in so doing have wandered from the faith.
Remember the truth, I have often wondered why if these things called knowledge can take you from the real truth why most Church’s now insist in their pastors and priest having a degree rather than building them up from the Church’s.
Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love,
Amen

Command and teach these things.

1 Timothy 4
1The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. 3They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. 4For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
6If you point these things out to the brothers, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, brought up in the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed. 7Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives' tales; rather, train yourself to be godly. 8For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.
9This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance 10(and for this we labor and strive), that we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, and especially of those who believe.
11Command and teach these things. 12Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 13Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. 14Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you.
15Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress. 16Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.

Notes from Nobody:
Great truths here, you will save both yourself and your hearers. More-devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching. Command and teach these things. Not just teach these things but command them! For everything God created is good, this is so true. Everything God created is good. In my studies I have come into understanding that religious teachings have lead us all astray on some things, but also helps keep us in line with the truth, and helps us hold strong to the basics. The thing that has hurt us is saying like, “will I don’t know why God wanted that to happen, but God works in all things to His good.” True that God works in all things to His good, but if we are thinking that God had anything to do with someone’s death due to a drunk driver that lost control of the car and slammed into a wall killing everyone inside, your wrong. Reason I know that is that MY GOD, MY JESUS WOULD NEVER HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH SOMEONE MAKING THE DESCION TO GET INTO A CAR WHILE DRUNK. One thing that Gods Word tells us we must obey the laws of this land. And there is another law a law of inertia, the force of a heavy object trying to turn at a fast speed, is broken here too. We have choices to make in our lives, and we should always choose Gods way, not our own way. We always have our own little twist of things, so don’t worry about losing yourself. This is where in all things God works to the greater glory. And in the situation were your brother gets killed and you decide that life is too short and you dedicate you life to Christ. That’s were God works to the Greater glory. My God wouldn’t tell someone to rape or kill someone, My God would not tell someone to abort their baby, and My God would not have anything to do with these things. However many of us that was raised up in the Church might think on many occasions, “Why would God allow that?” Will we all have free will, and we all have made bad decisions in our lives. God is the one that picks up the pieces after we realize that we screwed up. So in all things in all thoughts in every step you take make sure it lines up with the truth that only comes from God and you will be just fine. Amen

Halt

Don't allow yourself to get into a halt situation with your walk with God
H=Hungry Don't allow yourself to get to hungry for the word of God.
A= Angry Don't allow yourself to set around a be angry over and over again.
L=Lazy Don't forget about the time you use to spend with God in prayer.
T=Tempted If you have not been studying or not being feed the Word of God, and you have been angry and upset about everything going on around you, and you have stopped praying and spending time, then the enemy has you right were he wants you to be and you will become easily tempted.
What happened? How could we end up in this place?
Timothy 1:1-11 1Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the command of God our Savior and of Christ Jesus our hope,
2To Timothy my true son in the faith: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
3As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain men not to teach false doctrines any longer 4nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. These promote controversies rather than God's work—which is by faith. 5The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. 6Some have wandered away from these and turned to meaningless talk. 7They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm.
8We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. 9We also know that law[a] is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious; for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, 10for adulterers and perverts, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine 11that conforms to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.

Don't allow the enemy to ever stop something that God started. Start reading the whole letters at one time in one setting like you use to. Start setting up some time just for God where you are in prayer and putting Him back to the top of your list. Put on the armor of God before you even get out of bed every day. Start letting God deal with your angry and get back on track with the peace that comes from heaven. Then the laziness is gone the ability for the enemy to tempt you become less limited because you will be more alert to these things.
Don't be cooled off or lukewarm, be hot, be on fire for God, His Word and His Spirit, and His Son Jesus. Pay close attention to yourself, to your walk with God. Analyze yourself daily in prayer with God, ask God to show you what to work on, instead of asking Him to work on what you are will to be rid of. Comment yourself to prayer and pour yourself into the Word of God. Stand firm with what you know God wants in your life and what you have read about what God wants. Do be like a reed the sways in the wind moving back and forth with the wind. Be an Oak tree for the Lord. Amen.

How far can one sacrifice go?

When Jesus Christ died on the cross what exactly happened? And Why? Will the most important thing that happened was that Jesus took on all sin, before, during and after He died. All sin He bored for you and me. Not just the sins we consider we should be forgiving for or even the ones that we ask for Him to forgive but all sin. Of course we have to ask Jesus to come into our lives and transform our minds, so that we now stop being conformed to the world but be renewed by the creator of all life. Jesus when He stepped up on that cross to die for us, He was perfect without sin, to pay not only for our sin, but for our sickness for our transgressions too. What does that mean? The world is constantly trying to beat us down and point out every little thing we as Christians do wrong, these are our transgression our sins as Christians, when alls God wants to do is love us. The good news is so simple, you don’t have to be a theologian or some great bible scholar to realize the good news is that God loves us, and Jesus took every sin and made us new creatures and for how long? FOREVER.AMEN. Do I think that you have to keep on and on asking for forgiveness of you sins? No, you are forgiven even before you ask it, and are it okay to ask for forgiveness sure and ask for strength to never go there again of course. Do you have too, no. Your forgiven, do I think you can walk away from God and his protection? No the bible says you will appear as one escaping the flames. Is that good enough for me? No, I want to serve God, not man, watch this now. Very careful to always make sure that you are serving God and not man. Someone might tell you that sometimes you have to serve your brothers to serve God. Not true in the act of serving God you may provide service to man, but if you serve another man thinking you are serving God you can be in trouble. Always serve God; this may be good for another teaching. The fact is God saved us for eternity once we accept His Son. Not just ask long as you are doing this or that, then our salvation would be works related like some religions teach. Okay don’t want to bash any religion just share, so why did Jesus do it. The bible says Jesus was tempted in every way, that is a lot, coming from a background of drugs and other stuff, you see and do and experience a lot of things most Church folks would only see in a move that God. Just the things that I experienced I think a lot of Christians would not think Jesus was not tempted in that way. However I have noticed that when the bible says thing like forever, or every or never, it really means every, and it says every way Jesus was tempted. So Jesus know what we are going through and had compassion on us, God has heard our prayers saw want sin is doing to us and provided a way out. How many of us have saw someone beating there kid and thought that guy could not care for his son at all. Will God sent His only Son to die for us, that is how much He loves us and hates sin. He wants you to be sin free, transgression free, free indeed. God loves us all for eternity not because of something we did or didn’t do, because He loves us, unconditional love. Forever will He reach out to you forever will He want to provide for you, forever will He want only the best for you. And all’s we have to do is accept His Son as our Lord and Savior.
Amen.

Zecharih and You.

Now prior to the Birth of Jesus was a priest named Zechariah who had a wife named Elizabeth? They were old and had no children. Zechariah was on this normal rotation of priest that went into the Holy Of Holies the temple of the Lord. They case these lots and they fell on Zechariah, I can't imagine how these guys felt when the lots fall on them, because they tied a rope around that persons leg, incase that priest fell dead while in there. This was known to happen back then. Anyway while Zechariah was in the temple of the Lord he saw an angel of the Lord and that angel told him that he was fixing to have a child and that child would do all sorts of things and he was to name the child John. Will after hearing all this he did not believe at first, and told the angel how can the be I'm old and so is my wife? Because of your own disbelieve the angel made him unable to speak and until the child was born. And all that the angel told him happened. One thing I want to point out here is this, If you are standing her today saying that that religious stuff is a bunch of crap or standing here thinking that you are a bad person because you just can't believe all this stuff these Ministers keep throwing out at me, then let me tell you something about this guy Zechariah, the bible says he and his wife not only observed all the Lords commandments but that they were upright and blameless in the sight of the Lord. Now how many of us can say that? Not me. The point I'm trying to get at here is this, Zechariah saw an angel and still did not believe, let me tell you this is normal but you must overcome this disbelief crap the enemy puts in front of you. If the enemy can do this to someone blameless in the sight of the Lord then, he can do it to you too. Please be open to what God has to say to you, believe in Him and His Son that was born to take on yours and my sins so that we can get that free ticket to heaven.
Okay let’s get back what God wants me to share with you, when Elizabeth's became with child her cousin showed up and she had Jesus in her, Elizabeth’s baby jumped in her womb and received the Holy Spirit of God. Awesome stuff, Later when John was born it came time to name the baby and the family tried to name him something other than John. But Zechariah asks for a writing board and wrote no his name is John. Suddenly Zechariah could speak and this is what he had to say: in Luke 1: 67His father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied: 68"Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come and has redeemed his people. 69He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David 70(as he said through his holy prophets of long ago), 71salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us— 72to show mercy to our fathers and to remember his holy covenant, 73the oath he swore to our father Abraham: 74to rescue us from the hand of our enemies, and to enable us to serve him without fear 75in holiness and righteousness before him all our days. 76And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him, 77to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins, 78because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven 79to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace." 80And the child grew and became strong in spirit; and he lived in the desert until he appeared publicly to Israel. Now what does all this mean for us, I think God is letting you know that, even if you aren't blameless in his sight, that doesn't mean that He doesn't love or that He has forgotten about you. If you are having a problem with Drugs or Alcohol that seems to take you over, I promise you that God is here to help you with that. If you are broken down and dishearten the Lord is here to heal you. You can be His next miracle here and now, and all you have to do, is stand with me over here and say I want to know this Lord, I want to receive His Holy Spirit and be healed and get that free ticket to heaven today.
Amen.

He is Coming!

Revelation 1:4-8
Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne, 5and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.
To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, 6and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen. 7Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.
8"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."

A prayer by Jesus

1After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. 2For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. 4I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. 5And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.
Jesus Prays for His Disciples 6"I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. 7Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. 8For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me. 9I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours. 10All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them. 11I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name—the name you gave me—so that they may be one as we are one. 12While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled. 13"I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them. 14I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. 15My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. 18As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. 19For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.
Jesus Prays for All Believers 20"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: 23I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. 24"Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. 25"Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 26I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them."

Do not go astray

John 16
1"All this I have told you so that you will not go astray. 2They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God. 3They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me. 4I have told you this, so that when the time comes you will remember that I warned you. I did not tell you this at first because I was with you.
The Work of the Holy Spirit 5"Now I am going to him who sent me, yet none of you asks me, 'Where are you going?' 6Because I have said these things, you are filled with grief. 7But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: 9in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me; 10in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; 11and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.
12"I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. 15All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.
16"In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me."

[Comments from Nobody]
I look at this passage and almost start to get upset because of the part where they will put you out of the Church. But when I read further down I see what is most important.
"In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me."
Seeing and being with Jesus and the Father is the most important thing in my life. I think back on why it didn't upset me to loose my place in a Church or the Ministries God gave me there. And I realise that the most important thing is seeing Him face to face, and finishing the race. Although I miss the lost relationships at my last Church I know God has a plan for me and I need to stay on track with His plan not the plan of my old Pastor. Warning do not fall prey to following someone elses plan for you. You must follow God's plan for you. If there is stress or a heavy laid burden on you then chances are you are holding onto someone else's plan for you and not what God has planed for you. Becareful to listen to His Holy Spirit and what He has for you, remember what he said: "I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. 13But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

This is my command: Love each other

John 15 9-27
9"As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. 11I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. 14You are my friends if you do what I command. 15I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 16You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. 17This is my command: Love each other.
The World Hates the Disciples 18"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.'If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me. 22If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin. 23He who hates me hates my Father as well. 24If I had not done among them what no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. But now they have seen these miracles, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. 25But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: 'They hated me without reason.'
26"When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me. 27And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning.

(Nobody's Comments on this scripture)
Most people I know that are Christians live in a constant state of condemnation. They are depressed, anxious, and most of them will tell you they feel like God is punishing them because of something they did wrong. In reality of my scripture reading what can we do right? Says man's heart is deceitful who can trust it? So God love us not because of what we can or can't do it's based on our trust in him and believe in His son Jesus Christ. If we are loving each other and depending on God then we should be able to receive the peace that only comes from Him. Ever lasting peace, of His grace, mercy and love. Please consider this carefully, if you are in church and stressed or feel pressured that's not God, if fact God will separate you from a church like that I know first had. God took me out of a church I had attended for 11 years and I was a deacon there. God will get right in the middle of a harmful relationship and cut that off so you can bear more fruit than ever before. More Christan's today and their children are hooked and or completely dependant on prescription medicines for depression, anxiety then ever before in history. This isn't good where is there dependency on God? What are we teaching our children if we aer giving them medicine to cope with everyday issues? We should be teaching them to depend on the Lord! This Wednesday I felt like a dark dense cloud was lifted from my life and off of my shoulders as I prayed thanking God for loving me. It was His hand of peace reaching out to me and it is awesome. I am still looking for a church home, this is hard because I don't like Church's that beg for money, or preachers that speak in a fake voice. Thanks for taking the time to read this issue of Nobody
